Join Us for the
2025 Believe Family 5K!
This is a free family event that provides a good and uplifting challenge for families and individuals.

The Believe Family 5K is a fun and free event that has prizes (First through Third Place) for individual categories, as well as prizes (First through Third place) for the fastest families.
The 5K will begin at the Pavilion at Winchester Park, 1250 W Winchester Street, Murray, UT 84123. The 5K will then head south down the Jordan River Parkway and will loop back to finish where it started.
*Please plan travel accordingly as there is construction on 700 West and 1300 West that impacts travel in some directions.
To compete as a family, a family needs at least three people running/walking in the 5K, with at least one adult (15 or older) and at least one child (14 or younger) running. The rest of the family can be any combination of children or adults, but families are limited to direct lineal descendants of a person (grandparents are welcome to compete as a family with grandchildren, or parents with children, but nieces or nephews cannot compete with uncles or aunts). Times are averaged by family to determine the 'fastest' family. For example, if a family had 4 runners, their times would be added together and divided by 4.
Individual categories will include First to Third place prizes for the following groups:
- Up to 9 years old
- 10 to 14 years old
- 15 to 19 years old
- 20 to 29 years old
- 30 to 39 years old
- 40 to 49 years old
- 50 to 69 years old
- 70+
